Here at The Lab, we are committed to providing high quality childcare for families in the Talbot County community. Our educational program supports children development, learning, and play!
Mini Molecules
6 Weeks to 11 Months
An early childhood program for infants. Infants will play, explore, and be provided with an abundance of care.
Tiny Tubes
1 Year Olds
An early childhood program for 1 year olds. Children will learn through exploration and play.
Lil Beakers
2-3 Year Olds
An early childhood program for 2-3 year olds. Children begin to recognize colors, shapes, numbers and letters.
Jr. Scientists
3-5 Year Olds
An early childhood program for 3-5 year olds. Children will expand on their recognition of colors, shapes, numbers and letters and begin tracing. Children will practice independence and school readiness to prepare for Kindergarten.
Martial Arts
Children + Adults
Martial Arts classes are offered for children of ALL ages. Students learn respect, discipline, self esteem and confidence. Classes take place every evening.
The Lab Child Care Center Operates YEAR-ROUND!
The Center will be CLOSED on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Good Friday, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the Day after Christmas.
The Center will CLOSE EARLY AT 3 PM on the following holidays or days: New Year’s Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, Halloween, the Day before Christmas Eve, and up to two training days a year.
*The Lab Child Care Center reserves the right to adjust their hours and/or days of operation when circumstances arise that make this action necessary. We will give our families notice in as far in advance as possible if changes are necessary.*

Mini Molecules and Tiny Tubes Schedule
Infant/1-year-old schedules will vary based on the child’s intake form. The children enrolled in these classrooms will participate in the following daily activities:
Feeding
Diapering
Naptime
Outside Time
Gross Motor: Tummy Time, Crawling, Standing, and Walking
Manipulatives
Small Group Time: Playing with others
Storytime
Music Time
Times for these activities will vary based on the classroom and each child’s intake form.
